2017 summer school is aimed for collaboration and academic interaction between experts in Biomedical Engineering and Rehabilitation Clinicians, and to bring closer clinical applications to Master and Doctorate students, for impact on wellness and quality of life for Latin American elderly. An overview of the emerging technologies to support health-care and independent living will be presented and new methods for designing and innovate medical devices will be discussed.
